Teen Late Night - Hot Ones Challenge (6th-12th Grade)

Friday, November 21st - 6:00pm-10:00pm

Get ready for an epic showdown at The Hive Teen Center's 5th Annual Hot Ones Challenge. We’re turning up the heat with the latest season of fiery hot sauces. Do you have what it takes to survive all the way to "The Last Dab"? Parents, please note that an extra waiver is required for those brave enough to face the flames. Not a fan of spicy foods? No problem. Come cheer on your friends and watch the spice kings and queens battle it out. Who will take home the crown this year? Don’t miss out on one of The Hive’s hottest events of the year.

Teen Late Night - Holiday Party (6th-12th Grade)

Friday, December 19th - 6:00pm-10:00pm

Join us for the final late night of 2025 and celebrate the season with friends at The Hive. Dinner will feature pizza provided by Cottage Inn, followed by a night full of festive activities. Wear your favorite ugly sweater and jump into the fun as we decorate cookies, craft ornaments, enjoy the hot chocolate bar, and watch a holiday movie together.

Want to add even more excitement? Take part in the optional White Elephant Gift Exchange by bringing a wrapped gift valued between $5 and $10. Whether you’re here for the laughs, the treats, or the holiday spirit, this is the perfect way to wrap up the year at The Hive.

Cricut Creations Workshop Series (6th-12th Grade)

Unleash your creativity this fall at The Hive with our Cricut Creations Workshop Series. Each session introduces a new way to use Cricut design technology, giving participants the chance to learn hands-on skills and take home a personalized project. Sign up for one, or join us for the whole series.

 

Vinyl Edition

Thursday, November 20th - 6:15pm-8:00pm

Learn how to design and cut vinyl decals, then apply your custom creation to a water bottle provided in the workshop.

Heat Press Edition

Thursday, December 11th - 6:15pm-8:00pm

Take your Cricut designs to the next level by using the heat press to transfer graphics onto a tote bag provided during the session.

Babysitter Bootcamp Certification (Includes CPR & First Aid) (Ages 12-18)

Saturday, December 6th - 9:30am-4:00pm

Prepare young caregivers to become confident, capable babysitters with our comprehensive Babysitter Certification. This engaging and hands-on training program is designed for teens and preteens who want to learn essential child care skills, emergency preparedness, and professional responsibility. Each participant will receive a link for the online portion of CPR & First Aid. The online portion will need to be completed prior to class. Please verify there is a good email for participants to receive the link. Pizza lunch is included.

Participants will gain:

  • Certification in Pediatric CPR and First Aid, meeting national safety standards

  • Practical skills for safely caring for infants and children, including feeding, diapering, and bedtime routines

  • Tips on managing behavior, entertaining children, and handling common babysitting challenges

  • Guidance on starting and marketing a babysitting business

  • Confidence to act in emergencies and make smart decisions under pressure
