Our Rec on the Go mobile recreation van will be bringing pop-up programs all over the Howell area this summer! Games in our van include:
Giant connect 4
Spike ball
Kan jam
Disc golf baskets
Corn hole boards
Ladder ball
Chalk
Sports balls
And more!

Rec on the Go Summer 2026 Schedule:
Join us for FREE pop-up recreation programming coming to a park near you! Our Rec on the Go van contains tons of games for you to play including: disc golf, giant connect 4, spike ball, kan jam, cornhole, ladder ball, and more!
Schedules are programmed a month at a time and subject to change.

Sun Prints & Sun Catchers

Join Rec on the Go at the Oceola Soccer Fields and pavilion and paint your very own sun catcher!
Also be sure to stick around after the fact for giant yard games!

Great Start Livingston Playdate
Thursday, June 25th - 10am-11:30am
Join us for a FREE Community Playdate! Great Start playdates are free, open to the public, and specially designed for children ages 0–5. Siblings are welcome! These events offer opportunities for social connection, physical activity, early literacy support, and access to valuable community resources.
Each child will receive a free book and snack, while supplies last!
If you’re expecting a baby, ask us about receiving a free gift!
Nike Community Ambassador Day
Tuesday, June 30th - 10am-12pm
As a brand founded by a coach and an athlete, Nike is passionate about the role that a coach can play in a kids’ life. The Nike Community Ambassador (NCA) program empowers Nike retail employees to coach kids on a consistent basis in their local communities. Supported by informed coaching strategies, NCAs provide quality experiences and energy for kids and are committed to fostering an inclusive environment for all kids, inspiring them to be active for life.
