Oceola Community Center Gym Courts Calendar
UPDATE REGARDING STREET SHOES:
Fall and winter weather brings all sorts of rain, mud, snow and salt that can damage the gymnasium floors. Street shoes are not permitted when using the courts. Please bring an extra pair of shoes to wear when using the gym space at the Oceola Community Center. Thanks for your understanding and patience!

Leagues
Pints and Pickles (21 & Up)
Join us for Pints and Pickleball in this 6 week adult pickleball league! This is a great opportunity for you and your friends (21 and older) to get active on our pickleball courts and reward yourself with a fresh pint following play time!
This league will be self officiated and self evaluated. YOU will decided what level you are and in turn what court you will be on. Each person will sign up as an individual, pairs will not be assigned or registered. As this is a recreational no score league, we encourage all participants to play with someone new every time! Aberrant Ales has secured our Pickleballers with an ALL day deal as well as food specials for AFTER league play. Each participant will receive a t-shirt and a brew book passport to fill out at each session.

Adult Summer Softball League (18+)
Registration Opens May 8th, 2024
Welcome to Howell Recreation Summer Softball! Games are 1 hr. 5 mins. long; game times may vary. 8-14 Players per Team; Must play with at least an equal number of women as men on field. Each team required to pay Umpire at the field each week ($20 per team).
Site: Howell High School PE Field, 1200 W Grand River Ave.
Cost: $500/team (Resident) / $550/team (Non-Resident)
*No games 6/30 & 7/7.

Adult Cornhole League (21+)
Howell Recreation’s 21+ Adult Cornhole League is a chance for your team of two to show off your cornhole skills in a fun and friendly, competitive environment.
Enjoy a six-week-long adults-only cornhole league. The first five weeks will be regular league play allowing each team to play four games each week. Each week, your team’s score will be totaled to determine your placement the following week, ensuring you’re playing teams of similar skill levels. The sixth week will feature a double-elimination tournament to see which team will come out on top.

About Howell Recreation Youth Sports
The Howell Area Parks & Recreation Authority’s Youth Sports Program is designed to allow youth the opportunity to participate in various sporting activities in a non-competitive environment. All athletes get an equal amount of attention and playing time regardless of ability. All programs are first-come, first-served. Programs can fill to capacity before the deadline. Random placement determines all teams. A $10 late fee will be applied to all late registrations based on availability.
Vouchers for $35 will be given to Youth Sports volunteer coaches in good standing at the end of the season.
