About Howell Recreation Youth Sports
The Howell Area Parks & Recreation Authority’s Youth Sports Program is designed to allow youth the opportunity to participate in various sporting activities in a non-competitive environment. All athletes get an equal amount of attention and playing time regardless of ability. All programs are first-come, first-served. Programs can fill to capacity before the deadline. Teams are formed based off registration details: practice day preference, time preference, coach, etc.
Please note: Any teams without a coach (teams titled Coach *NEEDED*) at the close of registration will be merged into existing teams, which may increase roster sizes.

Oceola Community Center Gym Courts Calendar
UPDATE REGARDING STREET SHOES:
Fall and winter weather brings all sorts of rain, mud, snow and salt that can damage the gymnasium floors. Street shoes are not permitted when using the courts. Please bring an extra pair of shoes to wear when using the gym space at the Oceola Community Center. Thanks for your understanding and patience!

ADULT LEAGUES
Adult Co-Ed Volleyball (Ages 18 & Up)
Wednesdays, October 28th - December 9th - 7:00pm-10:00pm
The Howell Recreation Co-Ed Volleyball League features players 18 years of age and older; we will play at the Oceola Community Center.
Until further notice: Games will be self-officiated
Games will be held on Wednesday evenings with start times from 7pm-10pm.
Deadline to register is October 14th.
Cost: $345/team (Resident) | $400/team (Non-Resident)

Adult Women's Volleyball (Ages 18 & Up)

The Howell Recreation Women's Volleyball League features players 18 years of age and older; we will play at the Oceola Community Center.

Adult Futsal league (Ages 18 & Up)
Wednesday, January 6th - February 10th - Games between 6:30pm-9:00pm
Welcome to the FIRST Adult Futsal League! This league is designed for adults looking for a fun, competitive, and social soccer experience throughout the winter. Games will be self-refereed.
Recommended team size: 7-9 players per team
Registration Details:
One player will register as the Team Captain and complete team payment.
Team captains are responsible for submitting the final roster prior to the first game.
All players must complete the participation waiver before playing.
Schedules will be released prior to the season start date.
Games will be played rain or shine unless deemed unsafe by league staff.
League Format:
Small-sided 5v5 games.
Fast-paced play with rotating game schedules.
Recreational and competitive atmosphere focused on fun and sportsmanship.
At least one female on the field at all times.
Registration Opens November 3rd. Deadline to register is December 3rd.
Cost: $400/team (Resident) | $500/team (Non-Resident)

YOUTH LEAGUES
Fall Soccer League
Co-Ed Youth Fall Soccer League (Ages 3-14)
REGISTRATION FOR THIS PROGRAM HAS CLOSED.
League Runs: August 17th - October 10th
First Practice: Week of August 17th - 6:00pm-8:00pm
First Game: August 29th
Last Game: October 10th
*No Game 9/5.
Fall Basketball
Boys Basketball League (1st-8th Grade)
League Runs: January 4th - February 20th
Practices: Monday/Tuesday/Thursday, 6pm-8pm
Games: Saturdays between 8am-3pm
Howell Youth Basketball League features players in grades 1st – 2nd and will play at the Oceola Community Center (1661 N. Latson Rd.)
Our leagues depend on Parent Volunteer Coaches, we appreciate all of the help and hard work put in to this league and would love to have your support!
First Practice: Week of January 4th
First Game: January 16th
Last Game: February 20th
Registration opens October 7th. Deadline to register is November 6th.
Cost (1st-6th Grade): $85/player (Resident) | $125/player (Non-Resident)
Cost (7th-8th Grade): $95/player (Resident) | $145/player (Non-Resident)
