Little Bakers Sourdough series
Thursdays, June 11th - July 2nd - 10:00am-12:00pm
This multi-week series invites kids to build on the basics of sourdough baking while learning how real, whole foods support a healthy body from the inside out. Each class combines hands-on baking with age-appropriate lessons on gut health and how it connects to digestion, immune health, mood, focus, and overall well-being.
Young bakers will learn how sourdough works, why fermentation matters, and how to care for their starter, all while focusing on the importance of whole foods. Each week, participants will make a new kid-approved recipe using sourdough discard, building confidence in the kitchen and excitement around real food. By the end of the series, kids will not only understand how to bake with sourdough, but also why whole foods are good for them.
