About Howell Recreation Youth Sports

The Howell Area Parks & Recreation Authority’s Youth Sports Program is designed to allow youth the opportunity to participate in various sporting activities in a non-competitive environment.  All athletes get an equal amount of attention and playing time regardless of ability.  All programs are first-come, first-served. Programs can fill to capacity before the deadline. Random placement determines all teams.  A $10 late fee will be applied to all late registrations based on availability.

Vouchers for $35 will be given to Youth Sports volunteer coaches in good standing at the end of the season.

NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED FOR SPORTS LEAGUES AFTER THE REGISTRATION DEADLINE.  It is unfair to the teams who are losing players after the teams have been scheduled to drop out with no penalty.  Please check your family schedule before registering to make sure your child will be able to play.

About Howell Recreation Adult Sports

The Howell Area Parks & Recreation Authority offers a variety of adult sports for the citizens of the Howell area.  Check out all our offerings below!  For team sports, resident rate is determined by the team captain’s address.

Reduce Participation Fees

Adult sports teams that have a team sponsor can now pay not only the team but player fees (based on where the business/community organization is located within the Authority boundaries) as long as the company pays the entire team fee and all players’ fees on one company check.  All players will be charged the rate that the business/community organization falls into.
