Relax and enjoy the natural beauty of Scofield Park (formally Howell City Park) at the corner of Thompson and Barnard Streets.  Whether you want to take a walk, play on the swings, picnic with family and friends, or enjoy the fun in the sun at the beach, Scofield Park is the place for you!  A valid seasonal or daily pass is needed from the Friday of Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day.  Passes can be picked up starting late April and throughout the summer at the Bennett Recreation Center until Labor Day in September.  Proof of residency is required.

Pavilion Rentals

Pavilion rentals are available May 1st through September 30th  and are perfect for your next family reunion, wedding, or graduation party!

Boat Launch

Thompson Lake also offers a Boat Launch available for use.  Boat launch entry requires a valid seasonal or daily pass starting May 1st, 2018.  Daily passes are available at the Bennett Recreation Center during normal office hours throughout the season and at the Scofield Park entrance or boat launch booth from May 25th weekend to Labor Day.  Boat Launch is located on Roosevelt & Lake St.  Parking at the boat launch is limited.
