Howell City Park Relax and enjoy the natural beauty of Howell City Park. Whether you want to take a walk, play on the swings, picnic with family or friends, or enjoy the fun and sun in the water at the Beach at Howell City Park! There is something for everyone. Howell City Park Those wishing to enter Howell City Park between May 18 – September 3 will need either a seasonal park sticker (available at the Bennett Recreation Center) or a daily pass ($10 at the Park entrance booth) Seasonal Park Stickers can be picked up or purchased from the Bennett Recreation Center, 925 W. Grand River Ave., Howell.  (Please bring driver’s license to verify residency.) City of Howell Residents - 2 free stickers ($15 for additional sticker) Oceola Township Residents – 2 free stickers ($15 for additional sticker) Genoa Township Residents - $40/sticker Marion Township Residents - $40/sticker Non-residents - $80/sticker Daily passes ($10/vehicle) can be purchased at the entry booth at Howell City Park between the hours of 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. daily from May 27 – Labor Day.  Howell City Boat Launch The boat launch will be open for paid launching between May 1 - October 31 and a seasonal or daily pass ($20) will be required during this timeframe.  Daily passes are available at the Bennett Recreation Center from May 1 - October 31 or at the Howell City Park Main Park Guard Booth from Memorial Day - Labor Day.   Launching of boats will take place from dawn to dusk.  Violators will be ticketed if no valid seasonal or daily pass is visible in windshield. Pavilion Rentals The Howell Area Parks & Recreation Authority will continue to schedule and administer the pavilion rentals at Howell City Park.  Rental agreements and payment can be made at the Bennett Recreation Center, 925 W. Grand River Ave., Howell. There are three Pavilions at Howell City Park that can be rented between May 1 – October 31 Rotary Pavilion (can accommodate 100 guests)               $150/weekend, $100/weekday May & Scofield Pavilion (can accommodate 100 guests)               $150/weekend, $100/weekday Small Pavilion  (can accommodate 25 guests)               $100/weekend, $75/weekday The pavilions can be rented during 4 hour increments 3 times each day. Morning – 8 am – 11:00 am Mid Day – 11:30 am –  3:30 pm Evening – 4 pm – 8 pm If parties wish to extend their use of the pavilions, they will be charged for another 4 or 8 hour increment.  All guests who will be attending parties and events at the pavilions will be given FREE entry into the park through their rental agreement.  Renters will be given a special dated and timed pass (only available at Bennett Recreation Center) that they can copy and give to each of their guests.
