6th Annual Howell Independence Aquathlon The 6th Howell Independence Aquathlon on July 6th, is a unique multi-sport event which includes a 2K run/1000 meter swim and a final 2K run. The run takes place thru Howell City Park and beautiful Lakeview Cemetery; swim event in Thompson Lake off of Howell City Park beach. NEW THIS YEAR, we have added a one mile Open Water Swim. Awards will be given to all finishers of all events. Come enjoy the beautiful Howell City Park at Thompson Lake and these unique events. Particpate in both events or choose one.
