form on file with us, and updated on an as needed basis. This is for your protection and enables us to be
aware of any health concerns you may be having.
WATER AEROBICS AT THE AQUATIC CENTER
Comfort in the water is recommended for all our exercise classes, but knowing how to swim is not
necessary. All levels of fitness are welcome and intensity can be modified to meet your ability, so ask
your instructor to increase or modify your workout. Remember, get your workout in before work and
get ready at the HAAC! We offer a changing room, shower areas, as well as sinks with mirrors and
plenty of outlets, so don’t let work be your excuse not to workout!
Splash Aerobics
Come enjoy a complete exercise work-out to music that will strengthen your cardiovascular system, tone and condition your muscles, and leave you feeling invigorated and physically fit. You will be introduced to a variety of equipment: water weights, noodles, dumb bells, gloves and paddles, bringing variety to your water workout. You need not be a swimmer to participate, but comfort in the water is helpful.

Arthritis and Special Population
This class will lead participants through a series of specially designed exercises which, with the aid of the water's buoyancy and resistance, can help improve joint flexibility, and ease joint pain and stiffness. Any adult with arthritis or other physical ailments are encouraged to join this class. It is not necessary to know how to swim.

Deep Water Exercise
Floatation belts provide an environment of suspension, eliminating joint impact. The warm up is followed by a 30 minute cardio segment that is going to get your heart
pumping and build core strength. Focus is then shifted to toning your abs. We complete the workout with a total body stretch and send you on your way energized!

Morning Aerobics
A shape up class for everyone! Join us for a ―get your day off to a great start‖ workout that includes a low impact cardio work out, gentle stretching and muscle toning. This class offers the perfect mix of deep and shallow water exercise! We incorporate resistance paddles, noodles and water weights into the work out. You will leave this class feeling energized and invigorated for your busy day ahead!

H20 Circuit Training
This 50 minute class flies by as you work your way through exercise stations challenging your entire body. Circuit training is proven to burn calories and keep your body in motion as you perform each exercise station for one minute and then move on to the next exercise. We will utilize both shallow and deep water and use a variety of equipment for this intense workout. Water shoes are recommended but not required.

Water Gym
Water gym is a total body conditioning program executed in the pool. A circuit of exercises is designed with your sport’s specific needs in mind. Water Gym develops cardiovascular endurance, balance, and core stability. The combination of shallow water and deep water workouts will constantly challenge your athletes. Coaches should contact the pool to schedule their team for this unique workout and discuss any costs (HPS teams sponsored by athletic boosters).

Senior Strength & Stretch
Add variety and fun to your workout using bands, balls &
light weights for a total body session designed especially
for you, the active senior. This "from the chair" complete
body session will stretch and strengthen you from head to

Chair Yoga
This Yoga for Everybody class is a series of carefully
crafted yoga postures done from the comfort and support of
a chair. The combination of breath work and stretches are
suitable for those who have limited mobility. Yoga is a
lovely stress buster and wonderful way to increase mobility
and flexibility. All of the benefits of traditional yoga are
available to you. Come boost your energy, bring a flexible
attitude.

Yoga for Wellness
Gentle flow style yoga to greet the day. Discover a renewed
sense of strength, stability and flexibility while learning
breathing techniques to counterbalance stress. Yoga creates
a sense of ease as you learn to quiet your mind and become
attuned to a joyful heart. Improved posture energizes the
body and allows for comfort of movement in the joints.
Bring a yoga mat, small blanket and water. Please arrive 10
minutes early to settle in.

Yoga-lates
A Yoga-Pilates Hybrid Workout. Combining the best of
these two Mind~Body disciplines this intense, low impact
class will begin with traditional Yoga Sun Salutations to
warm and awaken the body, proceed with a creative Pilates
“powerhouse” focus to strengthen & lengthen and finish
with light weights in the Pilates style of repetition/sculpt.
In the yoga tradition a brief guided relaxation will complete
this end of the week workout, leave with a smile.

DRUMS Alive!
This is a holistic workout that connects simple and dynamic movement with pulsating rhythm by drumming on stability balls. Increase your heart rate for a great cardio workout that will strengthen your arms and core.

Land Circuit

Senior Circuit
For the Young at Heart! Circuit training designed for YOU,
the active senior. Enjoy moving through a series of playful
stations designed to build strength, flexibility & condition
the heart. Using weights, balls, bands, chairs & steps this
lively 45 minute class will be invigorating for body, mind
and you! Wear supportive shoes and relaxed clothing.

Group Cycling (Spinning)
Group Cycling is a 45 minute exercise class done on a stationary bike with a team of motivating instructors. This class will combine energizing music with a unique workout strengthening the heart and lungs while burning calories. Class will simulate an outdoor ride that, together, you will travel on flat roads, climb hills, sprint and race! The beauty of indoor cycling is that you can ride even when it’s raining or snowing outside! Bring a water bottle and hand towel to class. Now savings for multiple registrations as well.
