Therapeutic Recreation The Howell Area Parks & Recreation Authority’s new therapeutic recreation program provides sports, recreation, and leisure services to citizens in our community with physical, mental and emotional disabilities. This new program allows us to work with participants to enhance their health, independence and well-being. Services include therapeutic recreation programs and adaptive sports opportunities, which address the special needs of individuals with disabilities who have difficulty accessing and participating in recreation opportunities offered to the general public.   LOOK IN OUR SPRING/SUMMER BROCHURE  2011!
