Learn the basics of using your digital camera by actually using it. The first session involves a photo safari around downtown Howell, first meet at the Barnard Center. Bring your camera, memory cards/film, extra batteries, and walking shoes. Dress appropriately for the weather conditions. The second session will meet at the Barnard Center to share and discuss how we can all
improve.

Basics of Digital Photography (ages 12 & up)
Learn the basics of digital photography, starting with your own camera. Class will cover the common features and functions of your camera and when to use them. It will also cover hardware and software that you will
need to know to enjoy and make the most out of your digital camera. You will also learn to download, save and rename photos and how to resize files for different uses, like printing, e-mailing and web gallery. These simple steps will help you to vastly improve your photography. Please bring camera with manual, open mind and questions and samples of "bad" images.
