Michael Powers Aquatic Center Manager 517/540-8355 mpowers@howellrecreation.org Michael has been a supervisor at the Howell Area Aquatic Center for more than 11 years, and very much enjoys working closely with the staff and patrons in our community.  Recently hired by the Parks and Recreation Authority, he is excited about the opportunities that are now available.  He has been involved in aquatics for more than 20 years; starting with a lifeguarding job and teaching swim lessons, he now trains  instructors who teach those classes.  Michael moved to the area in 1998 with his wife and daughter and is currently working on a teaching degree at Eastern Michigan University.  He enjoys spending time with his family, swimming, hunting, fishing, participating in anything outdoors and photography.
