Michael Powers Aquatic Center Manager 517/540-8355 mpowers@howellrecreation.org Michael has been a supervisor at the Howell Area Aquatic Center since 1998, and very much enjoys working closely with the staff and patrons in our community. Hired by the Parks and Recreation Authority in 2009, he is excited about the opportunities that are now available. He has been involved in aquatics for more than 20 years; starting with a job as a lifeguarding and teaching swim lessons, he now is an instructor educator, training instructor trainers. Michael moved to the area in 1998 with his wife and daughter and has a BA from Eastern Michigan University. He enjoys spending time with his family, has a passion for photography, and anything outdoors including boating, swimming, hunting, and fishing.
