Flip-n-Flop Fishing Tournament 4th Annual Flip-n-Flop Fishing Tournament Saturday, June 9, 2012 Begins at 8:30am Pass on the fishing tradition to a new generation. The Howell Area Parks &   Recreation Authority is going to take advantage of Michigan’s Free Fishing Day when all fishing license fees will be waived for residents who would like to fish off of the Howell City Park Beach on Thompson Lake. Bring your pole and we'll provide the bait at the 3rd Annual Flip-n-Flop Fishing Tournament. This is a catch and  release event. Great prizes will be awarded to kids age 2-15 for the biggest fish caught that morning, most fish caught & smallest fish. T-shirts will be handed out to the first 200 paid registrants. Register in advance or drop in that morning. Check in begins at 8:00am. Tournament will begin at 8:30am and end at 10:30am. Come early to get the best spot and create memories that will last a lifetime. Park entrance fees will be waived before 10:30am.
