Fido Manners: Walk with Me   (ages 16 & older as primary holder)

Is Fido taking YOU for a walk? Are you tired of your dog pulling you every which way down the street? It can be difficult to teach an adult dog or older puppy to walk politely on a loose leash. They have been rewarded for pulling for so long in most cases, so pulling pays off. It also is not a concept a dog understands readily. Your dog enjoys walking briskly and checking out all the wonderful smells along the way. It is difficult because we need to walk the dog, but if the dog pulls, he gets rewarded. You learn how to turn your walks into a pleasant experience using dog-friendly methods. You will learn about dog-friendly tools such as no-pull harnesses that will make training more successful. If you'd like to enjoy your daily walks with your dog, come and learn how to change his pulling behavior into polite walking.
