Cards & Games


Bridge Lessons & Play (ages 18 & up)
For beginners or an ongoing refresher course. We'll cover bidding, playing the hand, defending, common conventions, and keeping score. Approximately half of each session will consist of playing bridge with assistance given as needed.

Hand and Foot   (ages 50 & up)

If you like playing cards and wish you could play for hours, then Hand and Foot might be the card game for you. Grab a partner and several decks of cards. The object of this game is to be the first person to discard all your cards. This is a chance to play a game you love or to learn a new one on Thursdays at 2:00pm. Free for members of the Senior Center, 50 cents for resident non-members and $1 for  non - resident non-members.

Come and meet some new friends and play bridge at the Senior Center on Tuesdays & Fridays from 1:00pm to 3:30pm. Free for members of the Senior Center, 50 cents for resident non-members and $1 for non-resident non-members.

Euchre & Cribbage   (ages 50 & up)

Calling all Euchre & Cribbage  players. Gather up your friends and join us on Thursdays at 1:00pm to play these two exciting games. Free for members of the Senior Center, 50 cents for  resident non-members and $1 for non-resident non-members.

Canasta   (ages 50 & up)

Canasta is a card game originating in Uruguay, in which players attempt to make melds of 7 cards of the same rank, and "go out" by playing all cards in their hand and discarding. It is commonly played by four players in two partnerships with two standard decks of cards, but many variations exist for 2-3 and  6-player games or teams. Please join us on Wednesdays from 12:00pm-4:00pm. Free for members of the Senior Center, 50 cents for resident non-members and $1 for non-resident non-members.
